Kirkkonummi is a versatile and growing municipality in Western Uusimaa. There are some 38 000 inhabitants in the municipality, of which 18 percent are Swedish-speaking. In Kirkkonummi, you will find both rural and seaside landscapes, with beautiful nature and excellent recreational opportunities.
The municipality of Kirkkonummi is located at the side of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. It is about 20 km to Helsinki from Kirkkonummi, or 30 km from the Kirkkonummi city centre. The neighbouring municipalities are Espoo in the east, Siuntio in the west and Vihti in the north. Kirkkonummi also has a maritime boundary with Inkoo in the south-west.
The railway from Helsinki to Turku runs through central Kirkkonummi. Highway 51 (Helsinki-Hanko) runs through southern Kirkkonummi, E18 runs through northern Kirkkonummi, and Ring III (Highway 50) terminates in eastern Kirkkonummi. The Helsinki Airport is about 40 km away from Kirkkonummi.

Together with local tourism businesses, we produce marketing services for tourism, culture, and the meetings and convention industry. We also actively apply to host various meetings and conventions in our municipality.
Visit Kirkkonummi is a collaboration between the Kirkkonummi municipal council and Kirkkonummi Luckan.
Luckan is a bilingual cultural and information centre which organises a variety of activities to all age groups. Our activities range from family cafes to art exhibitions. Youth and integration services are also part of our work. Luckan sells tickets to various events through Lippupiste, Ticketmaster and Netticket. We also run the Tourist Information in the municipality.
